Explore CareersWith over 26 years of experience in the field of medicine, Dr. John K. Dorman, M.D. specializes in neurosurgery, spine surgery, brain disorders, and brain tumors. A member of The American Association of Neurological Surgeons – among others, he advances his field through research, innovation, published articles, and several patented devices.
Dr. Dorman graduated from the University Of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston with a medical degree in 1994 and went on to complete his general surgery internship in Norfolk, Virginia. In addition, he completed a two-year fellowship in pediatric intensive care in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and went on to finish his neurosurgical residency at The University of New Mexico, in Albuquerque.
Dr. Dorman was certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery in 2006 and inducted into the American College of Surgeons in 2009. A recipient of multiple prestigious awards, he has been repeatedly recognized for his groundbreaking contributions to the field of medicine.

Prior to joining Circinus, Patrick was a Partner at Mirus Capital Advisors, a middle-market investment bank in the Boston area, where he advised numberer med-tech clients in transactions from $20M to $200M.
Previously he was an accomplished business founder, executive, and entrepreneur with extensive executive management and M&A experience in the healthcare technology and oil and gas/manufacturing sectors.

Rob brings over 25 years of demonstrated medical device success driving growth in start-up, turn around and commercial expansion of established businesses, combining his unique experience in marketing, commercial operations, and product development to shape and transform medical device markets.
Prior to joining Bolt Navigation, Rob served as Chief Commercial Officer for Embody, Inc., where he led the growth and commercial expansion of Embody from a pre-revenue start-up and commercial growth through to the acquisition by Zimmer Biomet in 2023 for a deal valued at up to $275M.
Previously, he was the VP of Marketing & Commercial Operations at DSM Biomedical and previous management and leadership roles in marketing and engineering at Ethicon, Johnson & Johnson Orthopeadics, DePuy, AliMed, DSM Biomedical and ApaTech, an orthobiologics start-up acquired by Baxter International for $330M. Rob has also served as a consultant and board advisor working with notable emerging device companies at all stages of commercialization including Cerapedics, Relievent Medsystems, Bio2 Technologies and SpineForm.
