We are excited to announce that Joshua Ammerman, M.D. has joined our surgeon advisory board. Dr. Ammerman is widely published and has academic appointments with the Johns Hopkins University and George Washington University Schools of Medicine. He currently serves as Medical Director and Chairman of the Department of Surgery and Chief of Neurosurgery at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Ammerman approached the company several months ago as he has been searching in vain for a highly accurate, cost-effective surgical navigation technology for use in the hospital but more importantly in the ASC setting. It quickly became clear that we have a shared vision regarding the need for navigation systems that can easily work in any surgical setting, simplify workflow, reduce radiation exposure, are implant agnostic, and improve surgical outcomes. We are thrilled to have a surgeon as capable and enthusiastic about our technology as Dr. Ammerman joins the team. Smaller, faster, safer, better.
