Final procedure of the multi-center RCT completed

2025 closed with the final procedure of the multi-center RCT comparing Bolt to legacy CT-based navigation, with principal investigator Mark Arts.

Thanks also to Drs. Wolfs, Bouma, and van Susante for their dedication and commitment to the Bolt study. 130 patients were randomized just prior to surgery into CT-nav or Bolt treatment arms, each with a post-placement CT spin. Accuracy of the 564 screws placed is being determined by an independent radiologist blinded to the treatment arm. The results will be presented in May at the ISSLS, and we anticipate an outcome consistent with the Phase 1 study published last year in The Spine Journal.
